In this week’s Q&A, meet the woman who makes order out of chaos and keeps Fireant Studio on schedule everyday, our Project Manager, Lauren Baker.

Where are you from?
Milwaukee, WI

How did you end up at Fireant Studio?
I’ve been in the interactive/digital marketing arena for over six years and I was looking for an agency in the Downtown Denver area that produced cutting-edge websites for a variety of clientele. I stumbled upon the job posting for an interactive project manager and knew Fireant was exactly what I was looking for.

Describe your job in one sentence
As Fireant’s interactive project manager, I am the client-defending ninja, internal tasking guru, and OCD organizer/planner all at once.

What’s your favorite part of working at Fireant Studio?
The laid back, collaborative atmosphere.

What does web design mean to you?
Providing unique, user-friendly digital content to a large audience in a fast and easily accessible manner.

Your favorite website?
There are a ton of amazing websites out there, but I think my favorite site right now is Buzzfeed. I love the fun content and various 90s flashbacks it provides me.

What piece of technology can you not live without and why?
Probably my iPad. I love that it’s portable and is the perfect combination of an iPhone and a laptop. It also fuels my addiction for niche blogs, Pinterest, Netflix, Candy Crush and cheesy chick-lit novels.
