Rocky Mountain Institute’s Reinventing Fire
Custom web development for nonprofit sustainability group Rocky Mountain Institute.
Not-for-profit sustainability group Rocky Mountain Institute needed a digital platform for their energy conservation project Reinventing Fire. Aimed at the world's largest online audience, RMI focused its efforts on targeting an informational site specific to Mandarin-speakers in China.h
For RMI's Reinventing Fire we extensively researched industry trends and best practices before we began to develop this Mandarin-based, QR functional, responsive website. Through our research and discovery efforts, we were able to develop a digital solution that not only looks good to the user, but is intuitively functional, serving up brochure information in a uniquely Chinese way on trend with industry standard.h
Research Guided Discovery
Compelling digital design for long term success. Informed by an in-depth discovery phase, our research-based approach took into consideration the unique technological trends and typical user behaviors of the Chinese audience.
Designed to leverage the nonprofit's call-to-action, Reinventing Fire's website relays digital content to the user in an intuitive, streamlined experience.
Defining The Digital Landscape: East Meets West. As RMI’s primary digital touchpoint, the Reinventing Fire website focuses on relaying a call-to-action effectively through use of QR code technologies. By tapping into this distinctly Chinese trend, the conversion process is simplified as digital content is accessible and readily-downloadable.
