“ONLINE TOOL ASSESSES CARBON FOOTPRINT, OTHER METRICS IN BUILDINGS SNOWMASS, Colo. – A new tool helps people understand how buildings use carbon and what they can do to reduce emissions in building projects. The Rocky Mountain Institute’s “Green Footstep” online calculator uses factors such as the building’s location, the local ecosystem and characteristics of the building to produce design targets to yield carbon neutrality, net zero energy for the site, and other goals.”
