Striving to educate Colorado on pressing health issues, our client LiveWell Colorado shifted their focus in 2014. Their first major campaign (tied to a large, state-wide mass media campaign) aimed to deepen the understanding of childhood obesity for Coloradans.
For this project, FIREANT STUDIO partnered with LWC to custom develop a campaign microsite to help educate the public on childhood obesity and to attract audiences to join LWC’s fight against childhood obesity.
Highlighting the Issue
As a key feature of the campaign, we developed CSS3 animation flip tiles to elevate the user experience (UX) and to drive audience engagement though the use of infographics. On the flip side of these tiles, detail specific campaign information is displayed along with easy-to-share social media buttons. Fun fact: the share and picture descriptions are completely editable by the client in the WordPress content management system (CMS) backend!
Each tile calls out specific problems and solutions associated with childhood obesity. Links on the internal side of the tile take the participant to success stories of Coloradans who are already using solutions to issues leading to obesity. FIREANT partnered with LWC to custom-build, design and develop the full page layout, each internal page, and success story landing page.
Completing the Entire Design Process
FIREANT STUDIO also developed an online custom form designed to collect information (name, email address, zip code) and further engage the community of Colorado in the change. This gravity form serves as a fully integrated digital solution to LWC’s website and CMS, seamlessly gliding down the page as you scroll to view content below the fold.
